THIS IS A NATIONAL GUARD TITLE 32 EXCEPTED SERVICE POSITION.
This National Guard position is for a LOGISTICS MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST T32 Position Description Number Dand is part of the AZ 162nd Wing National.
This position is located at the 162d WG in Tucson Arizona. Its purpose is to be the point of contact for the Logistics Readiness Squadron deployment and training activities. Manages customer training and provides the Logistics Readiness Squadron forces with training and resources for deployed operations.
THIS IS A NATIONAL GUARD TITLE 32 EXCEPTED SERVICE POSITION.
Conditions of employment
- ARIZONA AIR NATIONAL GUARD MEMBERSHIP IS REQUIRED. Prior to appointment into this position selectee must be a current member of the Arizona Air National Guard in a military position assigned to 162nd Wing.
- This is an excepted service position that requires membership in a compatible military assignment in the employing states National Guar required prior to the effective date of placement.
- Selectee will be required to wear the military uniform.
- Acceptance of an excepted service position constitutes concurrence with these requirements as a condition of employment.
- Applicants who are not currently a member of the National Guard must be eligible for immediate membership and employment in the National Guard in the military grade listed in this announcement.
- Males born after 31 December 1959 must be registered for Selective Service.
- Federal employment suitability as determined by a background investigation.
- May be required to successfully complete a trial period.
- Participation in direct deposit is mandatory.
- Incumbent must possess and maintain a current state drivers license.
- Recruitment Relocation or Retention Incentive may be offered and is subject to availability of funds.
- This position is subject to rotating or night shift work.
Qualifications
Military Grades: E-5/SSgt to E-7/MSgt
Compatible Military Assignments: Must possess or able to maintain the AFSC of 2S0X1
SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: 1-year specialized experience education or training equivalent to at least the next lower grade level. Must have experience education or training which involved detailed knowledge of organizations and their functions in logistical support (i.e. supply maintenance quality assurance facilities). Experience planning and organizing work assignments.
Education
You must provide transcripts or other documentation to support your Educational claims. To receive credit for Education you must provide documentation of proof that you meet the Education requirements for this position.
