Job Summary
KalSoft is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Power BI Developer with 12 years of hands-on experience in business intelligence and reporting. The selected candidate will be responsible for developing interactive dashboards performing data modeling and supporting data-driven decision-making across business functions. Experience working with SharePoint data sources and integrations will be considered an added advantage.

Key Responsibilities
Design develop and deploy interactive Power BI dashboards and reports
Perform data extraction transformation and loading (ETL) activities
Develop and maintain data models to support reporting requirements
Connect and integrate data from multiple sources including databases Excel files and cloud platforms
Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather reporting and analytics requirements
Ensure data accuracy consistency and report performance optimization
Troubleshoot and resolve reporting and data-related issues
Maintain technical documentation for reports dashboards and data models
Support ongoing enhancements and automation initiatives
Required Skills & Competencies
Hands-on experience with Microsoft Power BI (Desktop & Service)
Strong knowledge of DAX Power Query and Data Modeling concepts
Working knowledge of SQL and database concepts
Understanding of ETL and data integration techniques
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Good communication and stakeholder coordination skills
Ability to work independently and within a team environment
Preferred / Added Advantage
Experience working with SharePoint (data source integration lists or document libraries)
Exposure to Microsoft Power Platform or Microsoft BI Stack
Basic knowledge of scripting or data tools (e.g. Python)
Educational Requirements
Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or related field
