Job Description:
The Partner Inclusion Diversity Equity and Accessibility (IDEA) provides subject matter expertise and operational support for the Inclusion Diversity Equity and Accessibility area. This includes enabling policy reviews leading projects developing processes programs and content to enable the Colleges IDEA Blueprint. The incumbent also provides coaching to People Leaders and employees on intercultural competencies and application of the IDEA lens on key policies and processes at the College.
Reporting to the Manager Systems Reporting and Inclusion the role blends strategic partnership with hands-on operational delivery ensuring IDEA commitments are embedded into day-to-day practices governance structures and institutional processes. The Partner works collaboratively with leaders committees and internal stakeholders to identify systemic barriers implement solutions and monitor progress while balancing equity principles operational realities and organizational risk.
The Partner supports the Colleges employment equity efforts by promoting equity survey participation maintaining NOC data advising stakeholders on Federal Contractors Program requirements and managing diversityrelated programs and content. The Partner coordinates events and training leading employee affinity groups and committees develops related communications and materials and manages accessibility and diversity inquiries with informed confidential and empathetic guidance.
This role emphasizes empathy sound judgment and confidentiality when supporting leaders and employees while maintaining a clear focus on organizational goals compliance requirements and execution discipline. The Partner serves as a trusted advisor and operational enabler supporting the College in advancing inclusion accessibility and equity in a way that is measurable aligned and sustainable.

Required Qualifications:
Education
Minimum three (3) year Diploma/Degree in a related field (e.g. Social Sciences Psychology Womens and Gender Studies Human Resources disability studies law);
Certification in Intercultural Development Inventory (IDI) is considered an asset;
Certified Human Resource Professional (CHRP) or Leader designation (CHRL) is considered an asset;
Minimum five (5) years in Human Resources or related overall with several years specifically within the Diversity specialization;
Experience working with equity seeking / marginalized communities / individuals;
Experience with program design/development/evaluation communications and event management;
Demonstrated understanding of accessibility and inclusion in a workplace or post-secondary setting;
Experience and knowledge related to current trends issues legislation regulation and practices in areas of human rights workplace harassment equity and inclusion (e.g. Human Rights Code Occupational Health and Safety Sexual Violence Prevention and Response Accessibility);
Proficient with computer software (e.g. MS Office Suite WebEx Zoom) and experienced with website content maintenance (including accessible document creation) and social networking tools;
Ability to interpret and apply legislation policies and frameworks (e.g. AODA Human Rights Code internal HR policies);
Research analytical and critical thinking skills to assess policies data and organizational practices;
Strong working knowledge of inclusion diversity equity and accessibility principles in a workplace context;
Program and project coordination skills including planning execution tracking and reporting;
Ability to have difficult conversations with empathy facilitate safe/brave spaces and advise People Leaders in creating a more inclusive work environment;
Sound judgment in balancing equity considerations operational feasibility and organizational risk;
Ability to identify signs of distress in individuals to actively engage in mental health First Aid Tactics and to guide troubled/triggered individuals to resources for well-being;
Ability to maintain confidentiality discretion and trust in emotionally charged or complex situations;
Collaborative approach; able to influence without authority;
Experience in design and delivery of inter-cultural competency training and facilitation skills to discuss challenging IDEA related topics and issues;
Experience using content authoring software including Storyline Articulate Rise 360 Canva Adobe Creative Suite and Eventbrite.
