Job Summary
Description
- Industrial Engineering leader will oversee design develop and execute and standardize projects for the improve of operation strategies and processes through the lean manufacturing tools.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Analyze and improve production processes to maximize efficiency and reduce costs through the lean sigma culture.
- Coordinate and supervise activities related to manufacturing projects.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure operational objectives are met.
- Identify opportunities for continuous improvement projects.
- Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
- Supervise Engineering toolroom and technicians.
- Tooling and fixturing administration and maintenance.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Engineering bachelors degree
- 3-5 years experience on engineering department.
- Knowledge on Autocad/Solid/Creo CAD systems.
- Analytical Thinking
- Experience with hand tools and toolshop equipment.
- Knowledge on CNC machinery.
- Core Tools.
- Experience working with technicians.
PHYSICAL & ENVIRONMENTAL DEMANDS
- The role is primarily based in a manufacturing facility requiring regular site visits and interaction with production teams.
- Required to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) and adhere to safety protocols.
- The role involves extended periods of sitting in front of a computer.
- Occasional standing or walking may be required during meetings presentations or site visits.
- Work is primarily conducted in an office environment with controlled temperature and lighting.
