We are seeking a reliable organised and proactive Premises Officer to join a busy and welcoming primary school in North Finchley starting as soon as possible. This is a key role responsible for maintaining the school buildings grounds and ensuring a safe secure environment for pupils staff and visitors.

As a Premises Officer you will be responsible for maintaining the school facilities supporting day-to-day operations and ensuring that the school site remains safe and welcoming. You will liaise with contractors manage minor repairs and assist with events and logistical tasks across the school.
Key Responsibilities
Maintain and manage the school premises buildings and grounds
Monitor health safety and security across the site
Respond promptly to maintenance issues and liaise with contractors as needed
Assist with the setup and takedown of school events activities and functions
Carry out regular site inspections to ensure compliance with regulations
Support staff and pupils with site-related issues and requests
Ensure equipment and tools are maintained safely and effectively
Follow safeguarding health and safety procedures at all times
The Ideal Candidate

Have experience in premises management maintenance or facilities work
Be reliable organised and proactive
Have a good understanding of health and safety regulations and procedures
Be practical hands-on and able to solve problems efficiently
Possess strong communication and teamwork skills
