The Role
Teaching Design & Technology across KS3 and KS4
Planning and delivering engaging practical and theory-based lessons
Supporting pupils with design projects coursework and assessment
Promoting high standards of health & safety within workshops
Encouraging creativity problem-solving and independent thinking
Working collaboratively within a supportive DT department
The Ideal Candidate Will Have
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
A degree in Design & Technology or a related subject
Experience teaching DT at KS3 and KS4
Strong practical skills and good knowledge of workshop practice
Clear classroom management and organisational skills
A positive creative and professional approach
