Position Summary
We are seeking a confident knowledgeable and passionate Lead Preschool Teacher to lead a preschool classroom. The Lead Preschool Teacher is responsible for planning and implementing curriculum managing the classroom environment mentoring assistant teachers and fostering strong partnerships with families. This role requires a strong foundation in early childhood education and a commitment to professional growth.
Education Requirement (Mandatory)
- Must be currently enrolled in an Early Childhood Education (ECE) program
OR
- Must have already completed an Associates or Bachelors Degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field
Additional Qualifications
- Previous experience leading or co-leading a preschool classroom
- Strong understanding of preschool development and kindergarten readiness skills
- Ability to meet state licensing and TLE requirements
- CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Strong communication organization and leadership skills
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a preschool classroom in alignment with TLE standards and state regulations
- Plan and implement developmentally appropriate lesson plans and activities
- Create a positive structured and engaging learning environment
- Observe assess and document childrens developmental progress
- Supervise mentor and support assistant teachers
- Maintain a safe clean and organized classroom
- Build strong professional relationships with families through regular communication
- Ensure compliance with health safety and licensing requirements
- Participate in staff meetings trainings and ongoing professional development

This forms a foundation for kids to Learn Play and Grow under the care of our nurturing teachers and staff.
At TLE weve created a full cast of characters that become our little learners educators partners and friends through their preschool education journey. Each character has a unique personality and area of interest and brings learning to life by allowing children to explore the world through fun and imagination.
