Quality Advisor

A leading offshore engineering and construction contractor is strengthening its project organisation and is now seeking an experienced Quality Advisor to support ongoing and upcoming projects. This role works closely with project delivery teams and plays a key part in ensuring quality assurance activities are planned implemented and followed up in line with company standards and client requirements.
The role
As Quality Advisor you will act as a trusted QA partner to the project organisation with responsibility spanning assurance compliance and continuous improvement. Key responsibilities include:
- Acting as a member of the Project Team providing professional QA support and guidance
- Establishing implementing and following up project QA plans
- Planning and leading project audits and verifications
- Training and supporting project teams in QA processes and requirements
- Supporting project risk management activities
- Controlling and directing Quality Control and inspection activities to ensure compliance with internal and client specifications
- Coordinating third-party inspection resources in collaboration with Package Engineers
- Driving continual improvement of quality processes and ways of working
- Facilitating root cause analysis for non-conformances and ensuring corrective actions are effectively implemented
- Analysing QA performance and communicating results internally and externally
- Reviewing HSEQ input during tender phases and following up subcontractor performance
About you
- Minimum 7 years experience in a Quality or QA role
- Relevant education may compensate for fewer years of experience
- Strong planning organisation and time management skills
- Structured approach to meeting deadlines in project environments
- Proactive mindset with the ability to take ownership of HSEQ-related matters
- Strong collaboration and communication skills
