OPPORTUNITY
Abbott Diabetes Care (ADC) designs develops and manufactures glucose monitoring systems to help people living with diabetes. As part of our Medical Devices business we create smarter lifechanging technologies that improve health outcomes and empower people to live fuller lives.
We are seeking a Senior Specialist in Sales Force Effectiveness (SFE) based in Madrid. The role will be key in leading Salesforce effectiveness and reporting for the Spanish market. The successful candidate will analyze market dynamics and business models to evaluate current performance and develop robust commercial recommendations aimed at maximizing regional objectives generating synergies and improving our overall business processes.
WHAT YOULL DO
Planning:
- Track effectiveness train support and ensure adoption of the CRM (Veeva) application across sales team. Act as the first line of contact to manage field force requests queries troubleshooting.
- Prepare the ES field force team for the new strategic business T2 Diabetic patients expansion prepare for T2 Basal realignment of territories (New HC: REPs & AMs) new targets & segmentation (New targets Primary Care (PC))
- Implement and track new segmentations across Spain
- Review SFE KPI metrics to ensure compliance with SFE guidelines and consult with Sales & Commercial Director on remedial action required
- Ensure an optimal level of national calling activity with key target customers
- Partner with Sales Management teams to build and maintain the sales process in Salesforce with insightful solutions to track accounts opening opportunities and key activities required to sustain and grow business
- Develop reporting with relevant metrics and KPIs to be shared systematically and reviewed during business reviews in collaboration with Commercial Planning and analytics manager
- Collaborate with marketing to ensure the development of product learning materials
- DHT (Digital Health Tools) - Develop reporting with relevant metrics and KPIs to be shared systematically and reviewed during business and SFE reviews in collaboration with Commercial Planning and analytics manager. Partner with global IT to offer sustainable solutions
- Collaborate in internal EMEA reporting processes such as CDR (Commercial Demand Reviews) and LBE (Last Best Estimate) supporting forecast and business review cycles.
- Participate in the companys 5year strategic planning contributing insights and analysis from a commercial and strategic perspective.
- Act as the primary point of contact for SFE (Sales Force Effectiveness) review processes with EMEA stakeholders
Customer Focus and Service
- Ensure a national customer database is in place profiling customers against potential for business
- Customer segmentation & targeting implementation
- Ensure an optimal level of national calling activity with key target customers
Reporting/ Administration
- Ensure availability of meaningful and accurate commercials metrics (e.g. power BI & Veeva summary reports SFE dashboards ) for management information
- Communicate monthly SFE KPI metrics data
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelors degree required.
- Proven experience in sales marketing or commercial roles with at least 5 years in sales management or Salesforce Effectiveness.
- English proficiency.
- Demonstrated experience with Veeva CRM and Power BI (mandatory).
- Strong analytical training interpersonal and management capabilities.
SKILLS / PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- MBA preferred.
- Experience in Sales Sales Management Learning & Development or healthcare analytics/services within the pharmaceutical industry.
- Advanced Excel skills.
- Strong presentation and communication abilities.
- Critical thinking problem solving and understanding of market dynamics.
- Selfmotivated creative and structured .
- Willingness to travel internationally as required.
