Trustport is a purpose-driven fully funded startup at the intersection of fintech and proptech tackling a long-standing problem in a critical part of the Australian property purchasing process. Were building a product from first principles in a highly regulated space and doing it with speed pragmatism and care.

Were pre-launch building our core platform and assembling the leadership team that will take us from first product through to scale.

The Mission

Were seeking hungry hands-on Software Engineers to join our growing team. Your primary responsibility will be to write clean high-quality code and support the development of our core product while learning from our experienced founders and engineering leaders.

Your key responsibilities will be to:

• Feature Development: Working closely with the Product Manager and Designer contributing to the design implementation and delivery of features for our platform under the guidance of senior engineers.
• Tech Stack Immersion: Rapidly learn and work with our core technology stack which we includes TypeScript React Node running on GCP
• Contribute Directly to the Codebase: Be leveraging the latest AI tools as well as actively writing code to build key components. You will commit to a clean scalable and production-ready codebase through pair programming and code reviews.
• Project Participation: Participate actively in team discussions and contribute to coordinating with founders and engineers from our delivery partners to ensure smooth project progress.
• Quality Assurance: Assist in rigorous testing bug fixing and quality assurance for the pilot launch and be ready to rapidly iterate based on early user feedback.

Who You Are

• Youre a passionate software engineer either a recent graduate or someone with 2-5 years of professional experience who is eager to learn and grow within a startup environment.
• You have foundational knowledge in software development principles and are ready to apply your skills to building and launching applications.
• You have a knack for turning ambiguity into clarity and are eager to take on new technical challenges with mentorship.
• Youre an excellent communicator who can work effectively with other engineers and founders bringing a positive collaborative attitude to building a company from the ground up.
