The Department
Alfred Hospitals Radiology Department is one of Melbournes leading tertiary teaching and trauma hospitals. Alfred Radiology Department values education and professional development and utilises modern technologies across all modalities toimage challenging patients.
The Role
This is a unique opportnunity for a qualified radiographer to train in MRI in a tertiary hospital setting. The successful candidate will be trained in all aspects of the departments MRI service which is provied across 5 mri scanners. Once trained your role will be to provide the best possible radiographic examination ensuring patient comfort welfare and safety in accordance with established radiographic practice ethics and code of addition to routine imaging this position will provide opportunity to develop a broad range of specialist skills associated with Cardiac and Advanced Neuro imaging to support inpatient outpatient and research patient presentations. Some shift and on call work will be required.
