THIS IS A NATIONAL GUARD TITLE 32 EXCEPTED SERVICE POSITION.
This National Guard position is for a FUEL DISTRIBUTION SYSTEM WORKER (TITLE 32) Position Description Number Dand is part of the IL 182 AW National Guard.
As a FUEL DISTRIBUTION SYSTEM WORKER (TITLE 32) WGyou will manage fuel on behalf of the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) which consists of operations and maintenance of a fuel distribution system that includes a fuels laboratory cryogenic storage bulk storage base service station fuels information service center mobile fueling operations and the financial account management for missile propellants aviation fuels ground fuels and cryogenics utilized in support of aircraft motor vehicles engine test cells powered Aerospace Ground Equipment (AGE) generators and heating systems required to support the Wing mission and transient aircraft.

AREA OF CONSIDERATION: The areas of consideration for this position Title 32 Excepted Service (32 U.S. Code 709) will be in the following manner and sequence:
Military Grades: Enlisted Only - Minimum rank requirement of SrA and May not exceed the rank of TSgt.
SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: WG-09 Level - MUST possess experience or training operating maintaining repairing troubleshooting and overhauling fuel systems and components. Experience or training initiating and controlling the movement and storage of fuel supplies by operating high pressure systems with a series of terminals connected by cross-country pipelines or multi-fuel storage and distribution facilities connected by a network of internal pipelines.
xperience refers to paid and unpaid experience including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g. Peace Corps AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g. professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community student social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies knowledge and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience including volunteer experience.
