Job Description: Senior Legal Counsel SaaS / Technology Contracts

Location: Gurgaon India (Onsite)

Shift: US Working Hours (5:30 PM 2:30 AM IST)

Role Senior Legal Counsel who thrives at the intersection of law business and technology. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in drafting reviewing negotiating and managing technology and SaaS contracts for global IT/software companies.

This role requires excellent commercial judgment outstanding communication skills and a practical problem-solving mindset aligned with fast-paced business environments.

Key Responsibilities

Draft review negotiate redline and finalize a wide range of technology and commercial agreements including:

o SaaS Agreements o Master Service Agreements (MSAs) o Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs) o Statements of Work (SOWs) o Technology Licensing & IP Agreements (must-have) o Vendor and Procurement Contracts

Mitigate legal and contractual risk while ensuring business agility and deal velocity.

Support India and US compliance functions - including data privacy governance and internal controls.

Provide clear actionable legal advice to leadership product sales and operations teams.

Maintain organized version control contract repositories and documentation standards.

Collaborate closely with US legal and business teams during overlapping working hours.

Qualifications and Experience

8 years of experience in corporate legal roles preferably with IT or SaaS product companies.

Proven hands-on expertise in contract drafting negotiation redlining and risk interpretation.

Strong command over technology contracting and intellectual property terms.

Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with a consultative approach.

Familiarity with India and US compliance frameworks (data protection export control privacy laws).

Ability to work onsite in Gurgaon during US business hours (mandatory). What Youll Gain
