One of our food processing clients is looking for a Maintenance / Reliability Specialist for their food production facility close to GTA ON area.
Shift - Days
Pay - $110k to 115k
Key Responsibilities:
-
Train and coordinate daily activities of the maintenance team ensuring timely repair and maintenance of all plant machinery and systems.

Provide technical support to maintenance production and pacakgging teams and drive CI efforts to reduce downtime.
-
Develope and sustain a proactive Preventive Maintenance (PM) and Predictive Maintenance (PdM) program to minimize unplanned downtime.
-
Provide onsite support with equipment maintenance CI efforts PM Programs and fulfill maintenance requirements along with the maintenance team.
-
Monitor and analyze equipment failure data to identify root causes and drive reliability improvements.
-
Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and maintenance work instructions.
-
Utilize CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) to track work orders preventive maintenance schedules and equipment history.
-
Support capital projects and equipment installations by coordinating with engineering and vendors.
-
Train coach and mentor maintenance technicians and ensure adherence to safety and quality standards.
Qualifications:
-
Bachelors degree in Engineering or Licensed Millwright with experience in the food.

7 years of maintenance and reliability experience in a food processing or high speed manufacturing environment.

Strong knowledge of mechanical electrical pneumatic PLC and hydraulic systems.
-
Familiarity with reliability tools like FMEA RCA and condition-based monitoring.

Proficiency in using CMMS and Microsoft Office Suite.
