Job Summary

Job Summary:

Web Software Developer will be responsible for developing maintaining and enhancing web applications using framework. This includes working with SQL and Oracle databases participating in requirements discussions and collaborating with peers to deliver high-quality solutions. The developer will also be responsible for identifying and reducing technical debt ensuring code quality and designing responsive user interfaces.

Location:Newark New Jersey United StatesnWashington District of Columbia United States

Responsibilities:

- Develop and create web applications using system and environment.
- Participate in requirements discussions and transform them into useful applications in line with service goals.
- Support maintain and enhance existing applications and fix issues.
- Collaborate with peers to create the most effective solution possible using framework and Microsoft tech stack.
- Take responsibility for identifying and reducing technical debt in existing code structure while boosting application effectiveness and improve performance.
- Deliver error-free code that complies with secure coding practices.
- Incorporate data storage systems and preserve code quality.
- Design responsive/progressive user interfaces and related technology.
- Innovate and build high-quality software application options leveraging the flexibility of platform.

Required Skills & Certifications:

- 6 years of experience with C# Framework
- 6 years of experience with MVC using Internet Information Services (IIS)
- 6 years of experience with XML/json; WebAPI and RESTful Web Services
- 6 years of experience with Jira GitHub Azure DevOps
- 6 years of experience with JavaScript (TypeScript and React optional)
- 6 years of experience with Oracle and SQL Server
- 6 years of experience with Visual Studio

Preferred Skills & Certifications:

- Experience with TypeScript and React

Special Considerations:

- Hybrid position requiring 3 days onsite and 2 days remote.
- Excellent communication skills are required.
- Absences greater than two weeks must be approved in advance.
