Job Summary

JOB TITLE: Electronic Equipment Test Technician - DEFENSE
LOCATION: Orlando FL
PAY RATE: $35.96/hour

We are a national aerospace and defense staffing agency seeking highly qualified candidates for a position with a top-tier client.

Job Details:

Job Type: Contract (12 months with potential for extension)
Clearance: Ability to obtain Secret clearance (not required to start)
Schedule: First shift: Monday Thursday 6:30am 4:30pm

Summary:

Performs calibration testing adjustment and maintenance of optical electronic electromechanical mechanical pneumatic hydro-mechanical and pressure-type measuring instruments.
Sets up calibration sequences and procedures per specifications blueprints and drawings.
Disassembles cleans repairs and replaces defective parts on test equipment.
May monitor and verify quality per statistical process or other control procedures.

Requirements:

High school diploma required (no degree necessary)
Ability to obtain Secret clearance (not required to start)
2 years experience in:
- Working with and measuring optics
- Using test and calibration tools (interferometer autocollimator optical alignment scopes IR equipment oscilloscope RF generator DMM)
- Electronic and physical calibration
- Using IndySoft (current calibration system)
- Microsoft Office Suite to read procedures
Must be a U.S. Citizen (as defined by ITAR).
