Summary:
-
Fabricate assemble form finish and inspect composite fiberglass acrylic and metal parts tools and assemblies
-
Work from drawings work orders process specifications and quality requirements to ensure timely delivery
-
Operate lay-up impregnating perforating cutting roll-form press and curing machines
-
Load/unload and operate ovens and autoclaves for part and assembly curing
-
Perform rework repairs and engineering changes using portable bonding/repair equipment
-
Disassemble and prepare assemblies to support repairs or changes
-
Use shop mathematics precision measuring tools and inspection methods to verify work meets specifications
-
Maintain equipment and tools; perform routine TPM tasks (filters lubrication coolant levels etc.)
-
Handle solvents and cleaning solutions per approved procedures for bonding and paint prep
-
Move product within manufacturing area and coordinate workflow to next operation
-
Support continuous process flow by training and assisting employees at all skill levels
Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent
-
Minimum 4 years of aviation composite experience (no junior-level candidates)
-
Prior experience working on commercial aircraft preferably 777X as well as 767 and 737 platforms
-
Must be a U.S. Citizen (as defined by ITAR).
