The State of South Carolina is looking for a Project Manager - Project Lead Why is this position open: New Position - The project demand in IT has exceeded our internal capability to manage projects effectively without a dedicated IT project manager Max $$$: $$$/hour Will close to submissions on February 10th 2026 5:00 PM EST Interview Process: 2 Rounds - Initial Phone Call Screening followed by a REQUIRED In Person Interview Duration of the Contract: 12 months Schedule: 37.5 Hours/Week Monday - Friday Possibility for Extension: Yes Work Location: Hybrid Resource will be expected to come onsite 75% and remote work is 25% - specific days depending on project needs Candidate Location: Candidate MUST be a SC resident or willing to relocate to SC prior to starting the role at their own expense - Local and NON-Local candidates must complete onsite interview for the second round.
