1. Key Responsibilities
2. 1) Architecture & Strategy
- Define endtoend reference architectures for Gen AI solutions (e.g. RAG finetuning prompt orchestration evaluation) lowcode apps/flows and microservices on AWS & Azure.
- Establish architectural guardrails for data privacy model usage multicloud interoperability and cost efficiency.
- Own technology roadmaps: AI/ML platform evolution Power Platform environment strategy integration patterns event-driven and serverless designs.
3. 2) Generative AI & ML
- Select and integrate foundation models (OpenAI/Azure OpenAI Amazon Bedrock models opensource LLMs) based on task fit safety latency and cost.
- Design secure RAG pipelines (vector stores embeddings retrieval) with enterprise data governance.
- Lead Prompt Engineering and LLMOps/MLOps:
- Implement AI safety & responsible AI controls:
- Collaborate on AI productization: APIs SDKs batch/stream inference caching throttling and resiliency patterns.
4. 3) LowCode Platform Architecture (Power Platform)
- Define environment strategy (Dev/Test/Prod) ALM (solutions pipelines) and DLP policies for Power Platform.
- Architect Power Automate flows Power Apps (canvas/modeldriven) Power Pages Dataverse schema and custom connectors.
- Integrate with lineofbusiness systems (Dynamics 365 SAP Salesforce ServiceNow) modern APIs and event sources.
- Establish CoE (Center of Excellence) governance: templates controls monitoring auditing and citizen developer enablement.
5. 4) Cloud Architecture (AWS & Microsoft Azure)
- Design microservices and serverless architectures: AWS Lambda API Gateway DynamoDB/S3/Step Functions; Azure Functions API Management Cosmos DB/Storage/Logic Apps.
- Define DevSecOps pipelines (GitHub Actions/Azure DevOps/CodePipeline) IaC (Terraform/Bicep/CloudFormation) secrets management (AWS Secrets Manager/Azure Key Vault).
6. 6) Leadership & Delivery
- Mentor architects/engineers review designs/PRs and elevate engineering craft.
- Partner with product security and operations to translate business outcomes into robust architectures.
- Lead architecture decision records (ADRs) run technical councils and communicate tradeoffs clearly to stakeholders.
7. Required Qualifications
- 12 years in software engineering/architecture with 5 years in cloud-native architectures (AWS and/or Azure).
- Hands-on Gen AI experience: Azure OpenAI / OpenAI API Amazon Bedrock or open-source LLMs; building RAG systems; prompt engineering; evaluation tooling.
- Power Platform expertise: Power Automate Power Apps Dataverse environment strategy DLP ALM; custom connectors and governance.
- Strong in distributed systems API design event-driven patterns and serverless.
- Proficient with IaC (Terraform/Bicep/CloudFormation) CI/CD and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes: AKS/EKS).
- Solid understanding of identity & security (OAuth/OIDC JWT RBAC conditional access Zero Trust).
- Excellent communication; proven ability to lead architecture across multiple teams.
8. Preferred / Nice to Have
- Experience with vector databases
- Knowledge of data platforms (Synapse Fabric Databricks Snowflake Redshift Glue).
- Familiarity with observability stacks (Prometheus/Grafana ELK/OpenSearch OpenTelemetry).
- Background in compliance and Responsible AI governance frameworks.
- Experience setting up a Power Platform CoE and citizen developer programs.
- Exposure to Dynamics 365 SharePoint Teams extensibility (Power Fx Power Virtual Agents/Copilot Studio).

- Platform reliability (SLO adherence) security posture (audit findings) and cost efficiency (unit economics).
- Adoption of reference architectures and reduction in architectural drift.
- Reuse of components (SDKs connectors templates) and developer productivity improvements.
- Measurable Responsible AI outcomes (safety eval pass rates incident reduction).
12. Education & Certifications
- Bachelors/Masters in Computer Science Engineering or equivalent experience.
- Preferred: AWS Solutions Architect Professional Azure Solutions Architect Expert Microsoft Power Platform Solution Architect Expert Azure AI Engineer Associate.
