About the Role
We are looking for a Senior ABAP HR Developer with strong technical expertise in SAP HCM (HR) modules and hands-on experience in SAP UI5/Fiori or Neptune development. The ideal candidate should have participated in at least one full end-to-end implementation project and possess deep knowledge of Personnel Administration (PA) Organizational Management (OM) Time and Payroll (PY) processes. This role involves designing developing and optimizing custom solutions that enhance HR business processes using the latest SAP technologies.
Key Responsibilities
- Design develop and maintain custom ABAP HR applications including ReportsEnhancements Interfaces Conversions and Forms (RICEF objects).
- Build and support SAP workflows.
- Work closely with functional consultants to gather requirements and translate them into efficient technical solutions.
- Build and maintain custom Fiori/UI5 Neptune applications integrated with SAP HCM backend.
- Optimize performance of ABAP programs and ensure adherence to SAP development best practices.
- Support end-to-end implementation from blueprinting to go-live and postproduction support.
- Participate in integration projects with SuccessFactors SAP Portal or other third party systems.
- Conduct code reviews provide mentorship to junior developers and maintain high coding standards.
- Collaborate with Basis Security and Functional teams to ensure seamless solution delivery.
Required Skills and Experience
- 5-10 years of hands-on experience in SAP ABAP HR development.
- Strong understanding of SAP HR modules: PA OM Time Management Payroll (PY) and Benefits.
- Experience developing SAP UI5/Fiori applications and integrating them with ABAP
- backend services (OData Gateway).
- At least one full-cycle SAP HCM implementation project experience.
- Solid experience in ABAP Objects (OOPs) BAPIs BADIs User Exits and
- Enhancements Framework Proxy Idoc.
- Proficiency in Smart Forms Adobe Forms and ALV Reports.
- Strong debugging and performance tuning skills.
- Excellent communication and documentation abilities.
Preferred Qualifications
- Exposure to SAP SuccessFactors integration or SAP HANA environment.
- Experience with SAP Workflow related to HR processes.
- Knowledge of SAP RAP model or OData V4 services is an added advantage.
- ABAP certification is preferred.
