You will serve as a Security Specialist in the NAVEUR/NAVAF and SIXTHFLT of COMMANDER US NAVAL FORCES EUROPE Italy.
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
1)Providing the necessary support for the physical personnel information and industrial security programs to include investigating and analyzing a variety of unusual security problems questions or conditions;
2)Providing recommendations and technical interpretations which affect the level of funding required to meet program objectives;
3)Maintaining proper security measures and ensuring safeguards against the improper disclosure or handling of classified information vital to national security.

CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT:
This position is indexed as requiring a Tier I Department of Defense Security Fundamentals Professional Certification (SFPC) Security Asset Protection Professional Certification and Security Program Integration Professional Certification conferrals are required within 2 years of the established employee EOD or initial assignment date to this position in accordance with DOD 3305.13-M DoD
Security Accreditation and Certification.
The employee must be deployable. As situations warrant employee will be required to perform duties while deployed at sea or remote work locations to support various exercise/operations. Travel in military and/or commercial aircraft to perform temporary duty assignments may be required. Employee
must pass a medical examination and as required receive immunizations or prophylactic medicine for overseas/deployed locations.
The employee must be able to obtain and maintain a critical sensitive (Top Secret) clearance.
