The Senior CPU Process Manager is a critical role within Bon Appétit Management Company responsible for overseeing the efficient and effective operations of our Central Production Unit (CPU). This position requires a strong understanding of food production logistics and financial management. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food a keen eye for detail and the ability to lead and motivate a team.

Key Responsibilities

Process Management and Optimization:

• Oversee and optimize all aspects of the CPUs production processes including scheduling ingredient sourcing and quality control.

• Develop and implement standardized operating procedures to ensure consistency and efficiency.

• Continuously monitor and analyze production data to identify areas for improvement and cost reduction.

• Collaborate with culinary teams to develop innovative and efficient production techniques.

Team Leadership and Development:

• Recruit hire and train a high-performing team of production staff.

• Provide ongoing coaching mentoring and performance feedback to team members.

• Foster a positive and collaborative work environment that promotes teamwork and employee engagement.

• Ensure adherence to all safety sanitation and food quality standards.

Financial Management:

• Develop and manage the CPUs budget including forecasting cost control and variance analysis.

• Monitor and control labor and food costs to optimize profitability.

• Analyze financial data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.

Logistics and Supply Chain:

• Manage the efficient flow of ingredients and finished products between the CPU and client locations.

• Coordinate with procurement and logistics teams to ensure timely and accurate deliveries.

• Optimize inventory levels to minimize waste and maximize profitability.

Quality Assurance:

• Implement rigorous quality control procedures to ensure that all products meet Bon Appétits high standards.

• Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify and address potential issues.

• Collaborate with culinary teams to develop and maintain recipe standards.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in culinary arts food science business administration or related field.

• 5 years of experience in food production preferably in a large-scale commercial kitchen.

• Strong leadership and management skills with the ability to motivate and inspire teams.

• Excellent organizational and time management skills.

• Proficiency in financial analysis and budgeting.

• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations.

• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.

• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
