About the job
At Plannatech we are looking for a Senior Quality Analyst Specialist you will be responsible for designing and implementing quality assurance processes executing test plans and identifying opportunities for process improvements to ensure the delivery of high-quality software solutions.

Responsibilities

• Quality Assurance Strategy: Develop and implement a comprehensive quality assurance strategy including test plans test cases and test automation frameworks to ensure the reliability and usability of our products and services.
• Test Planning and Execution: Create detailed test plans and test cases based on business requirements and user stories and execute tests to validate software functionality performance and security.
• Test Automation: Design develop and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks using tools such as Selenium Appium or similar to increase test coverage and efficiency.
• Defect Management: Identify document and track defects using issue tracking systems such as Jira or Bugzilla and collaborate with development teams to ensure timely resolution.
• Clarifying and deep understanding of the features that are part of a project or single feature prior starting test cases and test executions.
• Metrics and Reporting: Define and track key quality metrics to measure the effectiveness of quality assurance processes and identify areas for improvement and prepare regular reports for stakeholders.
• Process Improvement: Continuously evaluate and improve quality assurance processes and methodologies to optimize efficiency reduce risk and enhance the overall quality of our products and services.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate closely with development product management and other cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on quality goals requirements and priorities.
• Training and Mentorship: Provide guidance training and mentorship to junior quality analysts and team members to enhance their skills and knowledge in quality assurance practices and methodologies.
• Stay Current: Stay up-to-date with the latest trends technologies and best practices in quality assurance testing and test automation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science Engineering or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Proven experience in a quality assurance role with at least 5 years of experience in designing and executing test plans and test cases for software applications.
• Strong proficiency in test automation tools and frameworks such as Selenium Appium or similar.
• English proficiency: Minimum B2 and above
• Experience with issue tracking systems such as Jira and Xray or similar tools.
• Solid understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies including Agile Scrum and KanBan methodologies.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with a strong attention to detail.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively in a cross functional team environment.
• Certifications such as ISTQB Certified Tester or similar are desirable but not required.
