Job Description

GENERAL SUMMARY:

The Product Manager is responsible for the overall success of assigned Brinks ATM and transaction related products. This person must have a strong interest and understanding of the payments industry or a background in product data analysis. The successful candidate will need to work with teams across the organization feel confident in their ability to communicate with development teams project managers business development groups as well as finance and accounting.

To perform this job successfully this person ensures that their assigned products meet or exceed forecasted performance.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO THE FOLLOWING:

  • Monitor payment product KPIs analyze transaction data for trends and conduct ad-hoc analysis to identify root causes of processing issues or bugs.

  • Work with development teams vendors manufacturers and other partners to maintain product functions and growth

  • Work with Accounting for product budget questions and creating fiscal product reports

  • Identify Process/efficiency improvement methods and work with PAI development teams or departments to implement changes

  • Define growth strategies for each product and work with the Product Development team to approve and implement new strategies

  • Perform management tasks and daily routines to ensure products perform as expected

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High School Diploma

  • 2 years college education preferred

  • 2 years minimum experience within the financial services industry is preferred

  • 2 years minimum program managing experience; product development related fields are a plus

  • 4 years customer-service experience in a professional work environment

  • Must be willing to travel when necessary. Travel frequency may vary but could be expected on a quarterly basis

A combination of education training and experience may be substituted when competency in the role is demonstrated. Successful performance on pre-employment tests may be required.

COMPUTER / APPLICATIONS SKILLS: Experienced with working in the Microsoft ecosystem

  • Especially strong working knowledge / understanding of Microsoft Excel

  • Experience with a payments based reporting platform utilized for data analysis

  • Experience with AI programs and the ability to leverage against internal data

WORKING CONDITIONS:

The job will be available to qualified remote workers. For workers residing within a defined reasonable distance to a company office expectations would be a combination of remote and in office work.

EFFORT:

Must be able to see hear speak and listen. Must be an excellent listener. Constant moving (up/down/around the office area) to address questions and provide coaching. Continuous looking at a computer screen. Daily contact with

Management and with co-workers. Work can be stressful and requires a calm patient demeanor. Lifting of 50 pounds or less which can be accommodated.
