Salary Range: $110-130k DOE
Job Summary:
We are seeking mid-level VMware Engineers to join our team and support the design deployment and management of VMware virtualization solutions for enterprise clients. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with VMware vSphere NSX vSAN and related technologies and will play a key role in optimizing and maintaining virtualized environments.
Responsibilities:
- Install configure and support VMware vSphere (6.7/7.x/8.x) NSX vSAN and related services.
- Manage and optimize virtualized infrastructure including ESXi hosts virtual machines and storage solutions.
- Troubleshoot and resolve VMware environment issues ensuring high availability and performance.
- Develop and maintain automation scripts (PowerShell Python) for routine VMware operations.
- Collaborate with project managers and other engineers to implement virtualization projects.
- Document VMware processes configurations and best practices.
- Stay current with VMware technologies and recommend improvements to infrastructure.
Qualifications:
- 3 years of experience with VMware vSphere ESXi vCenter and related products.
- Experience with NSX vSAN vRO and vRA is a plus.
- Strong scripting skills (PowerShell Python).
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent experience
