Review incoming orders to Stafford and create Bill of Materials for pressure relief valves using Master Parts Lists and SAP Variant Configurator
Support Stafford Engineering team by creating BOM for lines under the engineering queue. Ensure
BOM is created in line with the committed team service level and quality targets
Communicate with Application and Product engineers to clarify issues on Orders
Create new part numbers in SAP as required
Participate and host RCA/CAPA sessions for any external errors in BOM
Work with Stafford engineering team based on their requirements and priorities like parts clean-up activities and updating Master Parts List as required
Provide technical support for Application and Documentation teams
Check for correctness duplicates and approve newly created part numbers
Modify/Transfer/Delete existing part numbers based on the product engineers requirement
Create new classes characteristics and its values in SAP as specified by the Product Engineer
Perform data clean-up and mass changes as and when required
Support various data extraction related activities in SAP and MS Excel
Maintain the records of work done team metrics and monthly reports
You have good attention to details and are technically sound. You have a passion for learning about different products and also value quality in work done and able to quickly and significantly act in constantly evolving unexpected situations. You actively seek guidance from relevant sources to learn and upskill yourself
Bachelors degree in Engineering
Strong communication skills in English both written and verbal
Proficiency in MS Office
2 years industry work experience with experience BOM function
Working knowledge of pressure relief valvesregulators ASME and API standards
Knowledge of applicable international codes and standards
Working knowledge of SAP
