Salary: $86600 -$147048 (pending experience - includes Highly Accomplished (HAT) and Lead Teacher (LT) salary scale)

What we are looking for:

Applications are invited from qualified and enthusiastic educators to join the teaching staff of Emmaus College. These are full-time continuing positions to commence Term 2 2026 (20th April 2026) or as negotiated with the successful applicant.

We welcome applications from registered teachers who can teach in any or a combination of the following subjects.

• Religious Education
• Science
• Mathematics
• English
• Industrial Technology and Design
• HPE

Applicants who possess the following are encouraged to apply:

• Relevant tertiary qualification
• Appropriate qualities knowledge and skills to provide a relevant and holistic education
• Eligible to work in Australia for the duration of the appointment
• A desire to serve the communities located within the diocese of Rockhampton

The role of a teacher is to provide quality education and care for secondary school students at Emmaus College. The ideal candidate understands Catholic Educations mission can design differentiated teaching strategies uses data to guide improvement and collaborates effectively with colleagues parents and the community.

• Relevant tertiary qualifications and the ability to obtain approved Queensland College of Teachers Registration
