We are seeking an accomplished and values-led General Manager Aged Care to lead and optimise our home and virtual aged care portfolio. Reporting to the CEO this senior leadership role will drive innovative digitally enabled models of care and position St Vincents at the forefront of Australias aged care transformation.

You will provide strategic and operational leadership across multidisciplinary teams oversee end-to-end aged care products and services and champion exceptional client experience quality and sustainability.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the operational performance of home and virtual aged care services ensuring high standards of quality safety and continuous improvement.
  • Build inspire and develop a high-performing multidisciplinary workforce aligned to St Vincents mission and values.
  • Own and evolve aged care service models and products integrating clinical best practice digital technologies and funding frameworks.
  • Drive service optimisation through data performance metrics telehealth remote monitoring and emerging technologies.
  • Partner with internal and external stakeholders to support integrated care accreditation and growth opportunities.
  • Support business development activities including tenders proposals and demonstrations of capability.
  • Ensure compliance with clinical governance National Quality Standards and regulatory requirements.

About You

  • Proven leadership experience in aged care including managing multidisciplinary teams.
  • Experience in virtual care community-based services or digitally enabled care models.
  • Strong commercial acumen with the ability to drive sustainable growth and service excellence.
  • Deep understanding of clinical governance quality and safety standards.
  • Exceptional communication stakeholder engagement and change leadership skills.
  • A collaborative resilient and values-driven leadership style.

Qualifications:

  • Tertiary qualifications in nursing allied health or a related clinical discipline.
  • Postgraduate qualifications in health business or management (preferred).
