JOB TITLE: Marina Manager
REPORTS TO: General Manager

Status: Seasonal-Salary
JOB SUMMARY: A marina manager oversees the daily operations safety and financial performance of a marina. Responsibilities include managing dock-age and mooring assignments; selling scheduling and reserving boat rentals; and maintaining marina facilities and equipment. The role involves supervising staff coordinating schedules and providing training to ensure excellent customer service. Marina managers handle budgeting billing rental agreements and vendor contracts ensure compliance with environmental and safety regulations and address customer inquiries and issues. They also coordinate maintenance fueling operations emergency procedures and serve as the primary liaison between the marina tenants contractors and regulatory agencies.
PREREQUISITES:
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Must have valid drivers license and boat license (or born before 1982)
- Ability to pull in boats up to 40 in length.
- Ability to interact with guests in order to assure satisfaction.
- Ability to interact with employees in order to assure compliance with company service standards.
- Ability to reach bend stoop wipe push and pull.
- Knowledge of a variety of lawn equipment and hand tools.
- Available day and evening shifts weekends and holidays.
KNOWLEDGE SKILLS and ABILITIES:
Through the training process and your current experience the following skills and abilities are required to successfully perform this job:
- Work closely with staff to monitor slip assignments payments the marina.
- Obtain daily arrivals list and monitor marina channel for arrivals.
- Assist boaters with docking boats upon arrival.
- Assist with boaters upon departure from the marina.
- Train new marina dock hands on all marina procedures.
- Maintains a cash bank for marina purchases.
- Provide exceptional guest service to marina guests by assisting any manner necessary.
- Drive marina or resort guests to destinations located in the area using company vehicles.
- Assist with grounds-keeping or maintenance tasks as needed.
- Performs all other duties as assigned.
