Job Description

Olink part of Thermo Fisher Scientific is looking to hire a Laboratory Technician I to join our Lab Support team within R&D. This position is a temporary assignment to cover for a maternity leave and is based in our Uppsala office. The assignment will start as soon as possible and will run until at the latest 31 August 2026.

A Day in the Life

Are you passionate about hands-on lab work and contributing to cutting-edge product development As a valued member of the team youll play a key role in supporting R&D by performing essential laboratory tasks such as:

  • Registering and preparing raw materials

  • Measuring concentrations diluting aliquoting and precipitating samples

  • Ensuring accurate and timely processing to fuel innovation

Beyond the bench youll help maintain a well-organized and efficient lab environment. This includes:

  • Weekly and monthly cleaning routines

  • Dishwashing and utensil management

  • Infrastructure upkeep to ensure a safe and functional workspace

Youll also be part of our continuous improvement efforts helping shape a lab thats fit for purpose and capable of delivering high-quality products. While the role is primarily operational it includes some administrative responsibilities to keep everything running smoothly.
