Job Summary

The Sales Specialist will be responsible for driving revenue growth by identifying developing and closing cybersecurity opportunities across mid-market and enterprise customers. This role requires strong consultative selling skills deep understanding of cybersecurity solutions and the ability to align security offerings to business and risk objectives.


Key Responsibilities

  • Own the full sales cycle for cybersecurity solutions from prospecting through deal closure and handover.
  • Identify and qualify opportunities for MSSP services including SOC monitoring SIEM incident response cloud security vulnerability management and threat intelligence.
  • Engage customers in consultative discussions to understand business risks compliance needs and security maturity.
  • Develop tailored proposals pricing and value-based business cases in collaboration with pre-sales SOC and engineering teams.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customer stakeholders including CIOs CISOs and IT leaders.
  • Work closely with Customer Success and Operations teams to ensure smooth onboarding and long-term account growth.
  • Manage pipeline health forecast accurately and meet or exceed assigned revenue targets.
  • Track market trends competitor offerings and emerging cybersecurity threats to inform sales strategy.
  • Support renewals upsell and cross-sell initiatives across existing accounts.


Requirements

  • 58 years of B2B sales experience with at least 35 years selling cybersecurity solutions or services.
  • Proven track record of closing complex consultative deals in cybersecurity or technology services.
  • Strong understanding of cybersecurity concepts such as SOC operations SIEM cloud security (AWS/Azure/GCP) compliance frameworks and incident response.
  • Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong negotiation presentation and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams (pre-sales engineering SOC customer success).


Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience selling MSSP or managed security services.
  • Exposure to regulated industries (financial services fintech healthcare telecoms).
  • Relevant certifications (e.g. CISSP CISM CCSP cloud certifications) are an advantage.
