The successful candidate will help drive the FM Transformation vision and be part of an Agile team that partners with subject matter experts and technology associates to ideate design develop roll-out and measure success for the initiative. They will also support the teams Product Owner (PO) by acting as a voice of business interests within the team. This role will encompass driving delivery efforts across finance technology project management and people management.


The current EWA for this position is Hybrid and requires your on-site presence on a reoccurring basis as determined by your business. Your manager will provide additional details relative to the specific number of days you are expected to be on-site.


What you can expect:

  • Work on a small team (7-10 individuals) to help drive change and transformation to the BU Finance teams by enhancing methodology process/data flow and technology
  • Tackle problems creatively while being curious to evaluate situations from all angles and implement new solutions
  • Utilize flexible collaboration styles to build a cohesive team and maintain progress
  • Build partnerships with associates across finance data office technology and the businesses
  • Demonstrate capacity to communicate complex and technical solutions to non-technical audiences
  • Evaluate demanding situations understand the challenges and take the necessary risks to meet key milestones including making project-level decisions that will be instrumental in keeping pace and setting the stage for future actions and taking responsibility for projects as if they were their own business
  • Understands that this job is not about knowing the answers but finding them


What youll need:

  • 3-5 years of diversified experience in Finance Reporting (GAAP/Management reporting) with a focus on planning & analysis capital management or investments / financial modeling
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (e.g. pivot tables advanced formulas data analysis) and foundational knowledge of Power BI
  • Problem solving skills including the ability to identify solutions and alternatives for high priority challenges.
  • Ability to drive progress and navigate with tenacity.
  • Ability to connect the dots between the main concepts of finance treasury actuarial risk etc.
  • Excellent execution and business partnering skills along with strong analytical interpersonal and communication skills
  • Demonstrated success working on a cross-functional team that achieved long-term goals while managing short-term challenges
  • Willingness to learn innovative technologies and process re-engineering

Itd be a plus if you had:

  • MBA CPA or CFA
  • Experience building dashboards reports in Power BI or other visualization tools
  • Exposure to process redesign and mapping
  • Familiarity with cloud-based data platforms or large data sets
  • Exposure to programming or query languages such as Python C# SQL

Prudential is required by state specific laws to include the salary range for this role when hiring a resident in applicable locations. The salary range for this role is from $70300.00 to $116100.00. Specific pricing for the role may vary within the above range based on many factors including geographic location candidate experience and skills.
