Job Summary

Description

Shift: Friday Saturday Sunday 5:30AM-6:00PM (12-hour days)

Perform tasks involving physical labor including operation of a variety of hand and power tools. May clean and prepare concrete forms cut carry and tie rebar rake and screed concrete clean up rubble and debris and remove waste materials. Assist other craft workers as assigned.

Essential Functions

This team will perform steel set-up pour and finish concrete strip beds wash/blast/patch and move concrete product.

Set-Up:
Read piece tickets
Tie rebar set weld plates caulk forms install insulation pull steel cable
Operate ram and cutting torch

Pour/Finish:
Operate casting machine
Rake vibrate concrete
Finish concrete
Use hand trowel float and power trowel

Strip:
Cut panels free from bed
Operate tilt tables
Operate hoist
Load panels on A-frames
Break cylinders

Finished Products:
Wash panel face
Sandblast
Repair brick
Make mix designs
Patch imperfections

Load:
Drive yard truck
Operate gantry crane
Rig products to gantry
Stock and load product

Qualifications

Knowledge Skills and Abilities

Knowledge of proper use of equipment materials and supplies used in concrete production work.
Ability to use equipment and tools properly and safely.
Ability to work independently or as a team player to complete daily activities according to work schedule.
Ability to lift push pull or carry heavy objects. Ability to lift 25 pounds regularly 40 pounds frequently and 100 pounds occasionally.
Ability to bend at waist or in a kneeling position for extended periods of time.
Good manual dexterity (hand hand with arm two hands) and multi-limb coordination.
Excellent stamina is required.
Ability to work in adverse weather conditions including heat and cold.
Ability to walk on uneven surfaces and climb steps.
Requires good manual dexterity (hand hand with arm two hands) and multi-limb coordination.
Ability to understand follow and transmit oral instructions.
Ability to comply with all company policies procedures and safety requirements.

Education Training and Experience

Any combination of education and experience that demonstrates the knowledge and ability to perform the work.

Work Context

Regularly works near moving objects both inside and outside in climate conditions that include inclement weather heat and humidity and exposure to dust and concrete
Noise level is generally loud. Hearing protection is required
Safety/Steel toe boots hard hats and safety glasses required
