Science Tutor

Are you a high-achieving Science graduate with a minimum 2:1 degree keen to gain paid school-based experience before potentially progressing into teacher training

A well-regarded mixed secondary academy in North West London is seeking an ambitious and confident Science Tutor to support pupils across Biology Chemistry and Physics from February 2026.

This Science Tutor role is well suited to graduates from a top 2030 UK university who have prior tutoring experience and a strong academic background in Science. You will play a key role in raising attainment and supporting pupils up to GCSE level.

Science Tutor Role

Deliver targeted one-to-one and small group Science support
Support pupils across Biology Chemistry and Physics
Provide tailored GCSE intervention to close learning gaps
Act as a positive role model building confidence and engagement
Work closely with teaching staff to raise attainment and outcomes
Full-time term-time only position within a secondary school

Contract Information

Start date: February 2026
Term-time only contract until June 2026

Science Tutor Requirements

Graduate with a minimum 2:1 degree from a top 2030 UK university (preferred)
Strong academic background in Science
Experience tutoring Science up to GCSE level (essential)
Confident professional and reliable in a school setting
Passionate about supporting pupils academically
