Position Summary

The Tenant Relations Coordinator (TRC) develops and manages documents and records related to tenancy in accordance with the guidelines established by the Manitoba Housing and Renewal Corporation and the Residential Tenancies Act. This position reports to the Housing and Supports Manager and works closely with the Quality and Operations Manager. The TRC works within a team of housing professionals which includes maintenance contract cleaners and housing support workers.

Qualifications:

Education/Certification:

    • Post-secondary education in administration or other related disciplines required.
    • High School diploma required.

Experience:

    • Experience in office and/or property management administration is required.
    • Experience in customer service and/or property management an asset.
    • Experience working in a social services environment an asset.
    • Experience performing various administrative clerical and reception type duties such as but not limited to: receiving and distributing information managing files and coordinating meetings.

Knowledge Skills and Ability:

    • An executive-level ability to organize work is a critical function to this role.
    • Experience and high proficiency with Microsoft Office programs (Excel Word and Outlook).
    • Strong written communication skills with experience drafting proofreading and formatting correspondence with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
