The Alfred/Monash Shared Pathology Service is seeking an experienced Corporate Services Manager to play a pivotal role in shaping the future of public pathology services across Monash Health Alfred Care Group (part of Bayside Health) and Western Health.

Following the issuing of Victorias Pathology Framework Reform Implementation Plan (2025) in October Bayside Health is to lead one of two public pathology networks. With laboratories and collection centres across South East Melbourne South Gippsland and the expanding Western Health footprint. This is a rare opportunity to contribute to a major system-wide transformation.

About the Role

As the Corporate Services Manager you will work closely with the Shared Pathology Executive pathology operational teams and member health services to progress priority strategic initiatives and ensure effective operational alignment across the growing network.

This senior role combines financial leadership commercial acumen and operational oversight to support the service. You will lead and coordinate a broad corporate services portfolio including financial management asset and contract management procurement supply chain and revenue generation activities.

About You

Essential:

  • Seniorlevel financial management skills and experience developing financial control systems budgets and reporting frameworks.
  • Relevant financial management qualifications and/or extensive (5 years) experience in senior financial or corporate management roles.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with experience preparing executivelevel reports.
  • Demonstrated experience in contract vendor procurement supply chain and asset management.
  • Proven leadership and team management capability.

Desirable:

  • Tertiary qualification in accounting or economics (with professional body registration).
  • Experience in a pathology or health care environment.
  • Experience with organisational change and project management.
