Job Description

What youll do

• Collaborate with BizTech and cross-functional teams to design build and integrate AI-enabled automations and solutions that drive operational excellence and support Guidewires business priorities.

• Assist in implementing and consuming AI and GenAI capabilities contributing to engineering standards tooling and the expansion of Guidewires Agentic Platform and citizen developer initiatives.

• Participate in Agile delivery practices including sprint planning reviews and retrospectives to ensure outcome-oriented and efficient project execution.

• Document integration designs workflows and learnings to support knowledge sharing and continuous improvement.

• Help optimize engineering resources focusing on Python and automation to reduce manual tasks and enhance productivity.

• Support the development of self-service dashboards and data-driven decision-making tools for business technology teams.

• Engage in secure responsible use of AI and data contributing to Guidewires culture of innovation and balanced risk management.

What youll bring

Required

• Demonstrated ability to embrace AI and apply it to your current role as well as data-driven insights to drive innovation productivity and continuous improvement.

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science Information Technology Data Science or a related field.

• Basic understanding of APIs and integration concepts.

• Working knowledge of Python Java or TypeScript (academic or project experience is sufficient).

• Familiarity with JSON and XML data formats.

• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.

• Good communication skills and eagerness to learn in a team environment.

• Interest in AI GenAI and automation technologies.

• Demonstrated ability to embrace AI and apply it to your current role as well as data-driven insights to drive innovation productivity and continuous improvement.

Preferred

• Knowledge of AI/ML concepts or GenAI tools.

• Familiarity with cloud services and AI frameworks such as AWS (Lambda S3 API Gateway) or Google Vertex AI.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $52000 - $78000 . Your base pay will depend on your experience skills education training and location among other factors. All full-time positions or part-time roles working 30 hours or more a week at Guidewire are eligible for benefits that support their health and well-being including health dental and vision insurance paid time off and a company sponsored retirement addition some roles may be eligible for the annual company bonus plan commissions and/or long term incentive awards which are contingent on a variety of factors including but not limited to company and employee performance.
