SUMMARY
This position is responsible for maintaining testing and repairing a variety of instrumentation and equipment.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Calibrates maintains repairs and troubleshoots instrumentation and furnace equipment for manufacturing plants to ensure conformance to established calibration standards. Requires a high school diploma or its equivalent and at least 5 years of related experience. Familiar with a variety of the fields concepts practices and procedures. Relies on extensive experience and judgement to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. May lead and direct the work of others. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.
Assist Engineering in specifying equipment and such for new projects.
ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES
Accomplishes all tasks as appropriate.
QUALIFICATIONS
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or its equivalent.
5 7 years of related experience.
SPECIAL SKILLS
Ability to set up laboratory and testing equipment.
Knowledge of electricity and circuitry.
Ability to analyze and interpret data and other information in order to complete calibration procedures.
