Position Summary:

The Graphics Lead will help guide the day-to-day operations of Creative Services. This role is responsible for supporting the execution of graphics projects managing workflows and ensuring high-quality on-brand output that supports the banks strategic business goals. The ideal candidate is both creatively and technically inclined accountable and operationally strong with a passion for driving creative innovation and excellence.

The Lead will work under the guidance of the Creative Services Graphics Manager and serve as the creative and strategic liaison for developing multimedia content that supports the mission programs and outreach efforts of the Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta. Consults with clients at every level; providing visual solutions for internal external and system communications; carries significant responsibility for the management of creative resources processes and programs; and manages multiple design and/or multimedia projects simultaneously.

With minimal oversight monitors quality control guidelines maintains production scheduling/deadlines improves service and production levels and assumes responsibility for maintaining and improving the means of design. Assumes responsibility for creating executing delivering and archiving projects to stakeholders and clients. Exhibits a high degree of proficiency in design skill sets effectively communicates strategies conforms to organization identity standards and demonstrates awareness of current trends in corporate design. Exemplifies standards for customer service responsiveness team and client collaboration. Collaborate with management other creative professionals and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Management: With minimal supervision drive creative projects from concept through completion for department district and system-level work ensuring deadlines budgets and quality standards are met.
  • Team Support: Collaborate and communicate with the team and provide feedback guidance and support to elevate creative output.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Serve as a liaison between the creative team and internal departments to understand and communicate project goals and requirements.
  • Workflow Optimization: Develop and refine processes to improve efficiency and collaboration across the creative pipeline.
  • Partner with your teams Manager to ensure all content aligns with brand guidelines strategy and client/partner expectations.
  • Support the Banks visual design strategy for digital print and multimedia communications.
  • Consistently applies design thinking to enhance user engagement and visual impact.
  • Develop and maintain visual brand standards and ensure their consistent application across platforms and campaigns.
  • Translate complex bank and system-wide programs and policies into accessible and engaging visual content.
  • Ensure all assets meet the banks accessibility requirements and other applicable federal guidelines.
  • Stay informed of design trends tools and FRBA digital communications best practices.
  • Works with management and IT to maintain equipment and software. Interact with vendors and manage the work of contractors to expand capacity and develop new solutions. Monitors and work within budgets provided by the department leadership.
  • Produces work demonstrating a high degree of mastery over five or more of the following skill sets: graphic design digital design multimedia design motion graphics animation brand design multimedia/web design photo editing/retouching copywriting text editing and content strategy. Provides work guidance and direction to less experienced staff.

Education: Bachelors Degree

Experience: Eight years preferred Portfolio or website required
