Summary
This position is located within Commander Mid-Atlantic Region Fleet and Family Readiness Program. The purpose of this position is to provide beverage service in a dining room bar/lounge facility.
This position is located at Joint Expeditionary Base Little Creek Brashear Conference and Catering.
Sets up bar for operation including garnishes for mixed drinks. Mixes and serves a limited variety of alcoholic or nonalcoholic drinks to order following a variety of established recipes.
Serves patrons directly receives payment operates cash register makes and returns change to the patron. At close of facility completes the Daily Activity Report (DAR) verifies amount of money collected and drops the cashier bag into the safe.
Performs basic cleaning duties such as sweeping mopping vacuuming washes bar equipment glassware utensils etc. to maintain a constant and clean working area. Ensures all current sanitation requirements are followed and maintained.
Performs other related duties as required.
Must meet minimum age requirement.
Conditions of employment

- Must successfully pass the E-Verify employment verification check. Any discrepancies must be resolved as a condition of employment.
- Must be 21 years or older.
- Starting May 7 2025 non-affiliated individuals requesting access will need a REAL ID-compliant drivers license or another acceptable form of identification to access CNRMA Installations. (review required documents section for more information.)

A qualified candidate must possess:
Knowledge of basic arithmetic and cash handling procedures to compute changes and make change quickly and accurately.
Must possess working knowledge of sanitation practices and procedures.
Must be a mature individual who can exercise control over a large group of people to ensure good order and discipline as necessary.
Must possess working knowledge and skill to mix and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages from a limited bar.
A minimum of six months experience is strongly preferred.
