Job Summary

Reporting to the Logistics Manager the Material Handler is responsible for:

Operate lift trucks with various attachments (Forks Bale clamp and Roll clamp).
Communicate with truck drivers and assure they are following all safety procedures.
Follow trim sheet schedules shipping instructions and load plan instructions.
Transport and assign rolls to storage areas stage rolls by customer follow procedures for roll stacking including height restrictions.
Follow customer specifications for wrapping banding and palletizing shipments
Pull and stage rolls for trucks
Inspect trailers before loading and unloading
Properly brace/block back/ elevate rolls in trailers to insure safe shipment.
Follow correct procedures for carrying rolls into trailer load trailers by customer specifications.

Requirements:

HS Diploma or Equivalent
Experience driving fork truck
OSHA 10 Certificate (preferred)

Rate of Pay/Hours of Work:

$20.14/hr. All premium pay in accordance with current contract will apply.
Hours of Work:
- 11am 7:30pm (Monday Friday)
- OVERTIME MAY BE REQUIRED
