What Youll Do

As a Forklift Driver youll be part of our team located in Shelbyville KY. Youll get to:

• Complete PIV (Powered Industrial Vehicle) inspection paperwork before using PIV
• Complete weekly dock inspections
• Complete SAP transactions for shipping and receiving as necessary
• Keeping accurate records of stock labeling products and conducting regular inventory audits
• Placing materials in designated locations organizing storage areas for efficient retrieval and maintaining a clean workspace
• Distribute and deliver materials to machines on the machine shop floor
• Unloading incoming materials verifying quantity and quality and checking for damages
• Receive incoming material-Raw MRO Maintenance Engineering Office etc. and disperse appropriately
• Working with other departments to locate materials resolve discrepancies and support production needs
• Picking packing and preparing materials for production or shipment according to orders
• Operating PIVs or other equipment to move materials within the facility

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Understands and follows the Shelbyville sites environmental policy and the environmental impacts associated with their work activities
• Must have strong communication and organizational skills
• Must pass Stanley Black & Decker Powered Industrial Truck certification
• Must be able to relate to and interact with all levels of the organization
• Must be able to work from a general assignment with little or no directions from others
• Must be goal oriented and self-motivated with high energy levels and the ability to multi-task
• Must be reliable and flexible with hours worked including weekends and overtime
• Must be maintain 5S standards
