THIS IS A NATIONAL GUARD TITLE 32 EXCEPTED SERVICE POSITION.
This National Guard position is for a THEATER AEROSPACE OPERATIONS COMMAND AND CONTROL OFFICER (TITLE 32) Position Description Number D1504P01 and is part of the IL 183 WG Air Combat Operations Squadron (ACOS) National Guard.
As a THEATER AEROSPACE OPERATIONS COMMAND AND CONTROL OFFICER (TITLE 32) GSyou will provide instruction to upgrade skills to obtain maximum performance on all aspects of the force-level Air and Space Operations Center (AOC) weapons system spcifically within the Air Mobility Operations Squardron (AMOS).

AREA OF CONSIDERATION: The areas of consideration for this position Title 32 Excepted Service (32 U.S. Code 709) will be in the following manner and sequence:
Military Grades: Officer only not to exceed rank of Maj.
SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: GS-12 Level - MUST possess specialized experience of at least 1 year at the lower level GS-11 of experience education or training routine and non-routine preflight in-flight post-flight ground or command and control (C2) duties according to specific transportation functions; experience receiving interpreting extracting and disseminating relevant data for mission planning or execution; experience coordinating and negotiating with organizations/personnel both orally and in writing to resolve differences/problems.
SPECIALIZED SUPERVISORY EXPERIENCE: In addition to the required Specialized Experience MUST possess specialized supervisory experience which includes experience in managing the function of the work to be performed; Experience leading directing and assigning work of personnel.
Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g. Peace Corps AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g. professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community student social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies knowledge and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience including volunteer experience.
