Technical Program Manager (Electrical) leads cross-functional initiatives to deliver complex electrical engineering programs that power product performance and reliability. This role drives technical strategy coordinates engineering execution and ensures timely delivery of electrical systems that meet safety quality and cost objectives.
Responsibilities
Define program scope goals milestones and success criteria for electrical engineering projects; coordinate schedules resources and budgets across hardware firmware test and manufacturing teams; translate product requirements into actionable engineering tasks; facilitate technical trade-offs risk assessments and design reviews; track execution remove blockers and escalate issues as needed; manage supplier and contract engineering relationships; ensure compliance with electrical safety EMC/EMI and certification requirements; coordinate verification validation and system integration testing; and maintain clear documentation roadmaps and stakeholder communications.
Qualifications :
Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field or equivalent practical experience.
3 years of program or project management experience in electrical hardware or embedded product development environments.
Strong working knowledge of electrical engineering fundamentals including circuit design PCB layout processes power electronics signal integrity and test methodologies.
Demonstrated experience managing cross-functional schedules risk management processes and supplier relationships.
Hands-on involvement with design reviews DFMEA regulatory certification (safety EMC) and production transfer activities.
Proven ability to communicate complex technical trade-offs clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Candidates must have minimum 5 years of hands-on experience
Nice-to-Have Qualifications
Advanced degree in engineering or formal project management certification (PMP Scrum Master etc.).
Experience with manufacturing processes DFM/DFT practices and high-volume production ramps.
Familiarity with embedded firmware interactions power management ICs and thermal design considerations.
Experience working with global supply chains contract manufacturers or component qualification programs.
