The Financial Planning Associate supports the financial planning and analysis function by assisting in budgeting forecasting and financial reporting activities. This role helps provide accurate financial data and insights that enable informed decision-making and effective business performance review.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation of monthly quarterly and annual budgets and forecasts.
- Collect analyze and reconcile financial data from various sources to support decision making.
- Prepare variance analyses comparing actuals to budgets and forecasts and highlight key insights.
- Support the maintenance and updating of financial models to aid scenario planning.
- Generate regular financial reports and dashboards for management review.
- Collaborate with other departments to gather financial and operational data.
- Support month-end and year-end close processes by providing relevant analysis.
- Assist in ad hoc financial analysis projects as required by the FP&A Manager.
- Maintain documentation and records for audit and compliance purposes.
- Perform other duties as assigned by your line Manager.
Qualifications :
- Bachelors degree in Finance Accounting Economics or related field preferred.
- Professional qualification (ACCA ICAN) in progress.
- 2-3 years of experience in financial planning analysis or accounting roles preferred.
- Basic understanding of budgeting forecasting and financial reporting processes.
- Experience with Microsoft Excel and financial software applications.
