Schedule: Day Evening and Night Positions Available
- 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM (Day)
- 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM (Evening)
- 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM (Night)
- Includes weekends and holidays
Position Overview
We are seeking dedicated and experienced Certified Nurse Assistants (CNA) to join our client for a 13-week contract. This role is ideal for candidates who excel in patient care demonstrate professionalism and thrive in a dynamic healthcare environment. The CNA will provide direct care to patients while supporting nursing staff and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to promote patient safety dignity and well-being.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing dressing feeding and mobility
- Monitor patient conditions and report changes to licensed nursing staff
- Supporting safe patient handling and use of medical equipment
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in patient records
- Adhere to infection control and safety protocols
- Communicate effectively with patients families and the healthcare team
- Promote a therapeutic and respectful environment for patients of all ages and clinical needs
Required Qualifications
Licensure / Registration
- Active CNA certification in Montana
Certifications (Required)
- BLS (Basic Life Support) from AHA or ARC
- CPI certification preferred
Core Competencies
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment
- Dependability and professionalism
- Ability to follow clinical protocols and directions from nursing staff
- Basic computer skills for documentation
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in behavioral health or hospital settings
- Previous experience with patients of a wide range of ages and conditions
- Familiarity with electronic medical record systems
