Central Arkansas Veteran Healthcare System John L. McClellan Memorial Veterans Hospital is recruiting a Full-Time Non-Invasive Cardiologist within the Medicine Service.

This is an Open Continuous Announcement and will remain open until closing date and may be extended until the position is filled. Recruitment/Relocation Incentive (Sign-on Bonus): May be available for highly qualified candidates
Pay: Competitive salary annual performance bonus regular salary increases

The Non-Invasive Cardiologist Physician provides care with in the Medicine Service and reports to the Section Chief of Cardiology. The incumbent role includes evaluating diagnosing providing consultation treating and managing inpatients and outpatients with a wide variety of acute chronic and/or suspected diseases. Participates in education of trainees and actively engage in basic clinical or health services research in cardiovascular disease.
Duties are but not limited to the following:
Work Schedule: Monday - Friday 7:30 am - 4:00 pm subject to change based on the needs of the facility. Occasional travel may be required for staffing clinic in CBOCs. No overnight travel.
To qualify for this position you must meet the basic requirements as well as any additional requirements (if applicable) listed in the job announcement. Applicants pending the completion of training or license requirements may be referred and tentatively selected but may not be hired until all requirements are met. Currently employed physician(s) in VA who met the requirements for appointment under the previous qualification standard at the time of their initial appointment are deemed to have met the basic requirements of the occupation.
