Your mission:
As a Systems Engineer you are the technical linchpin that connects innovative R&D concepts to robust market-leading machine performance. You will:
- Take the technical lead in the end-to-end design configuration installation and testing of our roadmap sorting machines.
- Innovate vision systems: Actively support the research and development of optical systems and sensor technologies pushing boundaries of inspection quality.
- Drive optimisation: utilise your hands on approach to build test-setups rigorously collect and analyse data and document findings to drive machine improvements.
- Complete technical documentation: Develop and maintain documentation for system architecture configuration and operational procedures.
- Have cross-functional impact: Collaborate across a vast technical landscape including optics automation production supply chain and service. Provide technical guidance and demonstrate leadership.
Qualifications :
About You:
- Masters degree or equivalent experience in Engineering Physics or a related Science field.
- A passion for technology and genuine curiosity about how things work drive you to explore new methods and improve machine performance with a hands-on approach.
- Proven ability to take ownership in technical and complex interdisciplinary projects and manage tasks independently.
- Experience in one or more of the following areas: automation vision systems photonics optics or spectroscopy.
- Familiar with data analysis programming & modelling tools (e.g. python MATLAB).
- Strong analytical mindset with a methodical approach to problem-solving.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- A team player who thrives in working with cross-functional teams including R&D manufacturing and quality assurance.
- Able to work effectively in an international and culturally diverse working environment.
- Willingness to travel domestically and internationally.
