Job Description:
Department: Personal Care Services (PCS)
Employment Type: Part-Time Hourly (25 hours/week)
Work Model: Field-based multi-branch coverage
Reports To: Care Coordinator / Field Supervisor (assignment-based)
The Special Care Attendant (SCA) Floater provides in-home personal care and support services to elderly and/or disabled clients across multiple branch locations. This role is designed to stabilize care delivery by filling short-notice callouts temporary coverage gaps and interim assignments while permanent staffing is secured.
This is a highly flexible on-demand role that requires adaptability reliability and strong communication skills. SCA Floaters must be comfortable with variable assignments diverse client needs and travel within assigned coverage areas. While part-time in hours this role carries elevated responsibility due to its impact on continuity of care and patient safety.
