Job Summary
Do you have great attention to detail and love working with internal employees Are you an expert with MS Excel We are looking for a strong data analyst on our US Payroll Operations this role candidates need to be fully bilingual in English and Spanish. Come join us in this hybrid role at our Rocklin CA Location.
Responsible for assisting in the preparation distribution and accounting of employee payroll.
Candidates local to the Rocklin CA area will be prioritized.

Responsibilities
Serves as a liaison to employees and third party payroll vendors to ensure payroll processing accurately reflects company specific pay policies. Audits employee pay records and reconciles totals by departmental cost center location etc. Participates in payroll system upgrades and implementations. Works directly with employees to resolve outstanding payroll inquiries. Ensures FLSA status is correctly captured in the system per employee. Interprets pay policies e.g. vacation LOA disability workers compensation governmental regulations withholding exemptions etc. and ensures amounts/deductions are calculated and applied to various accounts correctly. Ensures company compliance with federal and state payroll house payroll expert staying current with changes in the law. May assist with audits such as internal state federal etc. for correctly classifying and paying employees. May prepare tax reports and related documentation. Documents payroll processes and procedures. May train other payroll staff. May be back up to those who perform specialized tasks or activities.
Preferred experience:
- At least 3 years experience processing Payroll for US and Latin American countries; specifically Brazil.
- Candidates must be fully fluent in English and Spanish for both written and verbal communication.
- Candidates must be able to commute to the Rocklin CA office 2 days/week.
- Candidates must have strong Excel and data analytics experience: familiarity with formulas pivots etc

US: Hiring Range in USD from $24.62 to $48.03 per hour; from: $51200 to $99900 per annum. May be eligible for equity.
